The Purple Mini

AS SEEN ON THE LONDON TO BRIGHTON MINI RUN 2002! 

 This is the page on my site dedicated to the purple mini.

This car was completely stripped down and re-built by both myself and my father. Most of the money spent was on the engine, the build spec is shown below.

ENGINE SPEC;
1275cc MG Metro Engine, Bored +20 to 1293cc. Lightened, balanced flywheel and crank, with centre main strap. Race spec clutch plate, duplex timing gears, central oil pick-up, formula junior cam, semi race head, Maniflow LCB manifold and exhaust. All this is mounted on a re-built standard gearbox with a toughened diff pin and 3.44 diff.

All the subframes, brakes, shocks, bearings, brake lines, etc, etc are new or have been re-conditioned. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO THIS MINI!!!!

THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD!! And the current owner is really happy with it. I hope to get some updated pics of it when it comes back for its servicing.
